Private Pilot

The basic rating you need to operate an aircraft is your Private Pilot Rating. New England Helicopter Academy offers a Part 61 Private Pilot Courses. A Part 61 Private Pilot Course is designed for those students who just want to fly as a hobby. A subset of this course is available for students who already have a Fixed-Wing Private Pilot Certificate (Private Pilot Add-On Course).

Completion time, for a full-time student to acquire a Private Rating via a Part 61 Program, can be as little as three months at a cost of approximately $20,600.00
