NEHA trains to standards that are beyond those set
by the FAA. We produce highly-skilled pilots that have been exposed
to a wide spectrum of flight conditions.
Becoming a helicopter pilot requires you to apply
a great deal of concentration, effort and study. Flying a helicopter
is a multitask skill that carries with it a high degree of personal
responsibility. You must know how to control the aircraft under
all circumstances, acquire weather information, navigate, communicate
with air traffic control, and be able to handle any possible emergency.
As a student of NEHA, you learn how to pilot a helicopter with the
highest confidence.
TRAINING METHODS
We will teach you all of the maneuvers and associated
aeronautical knowledge up to the commercial pilot level even if
you are only seeking a private pilot certificate. This will ensure
that you will become a most capable pilot and especially a safe
one. Later stages in our Private Pilot Course include commercial
maneuvers such as confined area and pinnacle operations, and advanced
emergency procedures including 180 and touch-down autorotations.
Once you complete the Private Pilot Course, you will
only need to practice what you have learned to become more proficient,
and build up the required flight time to achieve your commercial
pilot certificate.
