International Students
Every person who is pursuing an FAA aircraft rating within the United States of America, needs to obtain prior permission before starting their training. People who are not a citizen or national of the United States of America, are considered “Alien Students”. The sooner you file your information, the sooner you can begin flying.
Alien students who fly at New England Helicopter Academy will fall under a Category 3 or Category 4 candidate. Regardless of what category you are, you will have to start the process by submitting the proper information in an acceptable manner to the TSA (Transportation Safety Administration). You can file this information at the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/
